Homemade Detox Drinks, recipes for cleansing and weight loss Detox is a process of cleaning your body from harmful toxins and keeps the inner organs healthy. Drinking Detox water though out the day keeps you hydrated, helps flush out harmful toxins, reduce belly fat and keeps your skin healthy and glowing
Here are some Homemade recipes for detox water which you can easily prepare at home:
1. Lemon and Honey detox:- Lemon is a good source of vitamin C. It helps in digestion, Boost your immune system, Cleans your body ans helps reduce body weight by breaking down the fat content. Honey has Minerals, Vitamins and amino acids that has Antibacterial, Anti fungal and Antioxidants properties; natural detox and readily available in stores.
How to prepare drink: Ingredients
- 1 Lemon
- 1 Spoon honey
- 1 Glass Luke warm water
Preparation In a Luke warm water add 1 lemon and 1 spoon honey, stir well to mix and it’s ready to drink. Drink it every morning on empty stomach
2. Cucumber, Ginger, Lemon and Mint detox:– Prepare this drink at night and consume it next day.
- 3 or 5 sliced Cucumber
- 1/2 sliced Lemon
- 1/4 sliced or crushed Ginger
- 10 to 15 Mint Leaves
- 2 Litres of water
Preparation In a glass jar add 2 Litres of water, Mint leaves, Cucumber, Ginger and Lemon slices. Store it in the fridge overnight and consume the next day by sipping throughout the day. This detox is very effective for burning belly fat.
3. Apple cider vinegar Detox:–
- 1 tbs of Apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbs of freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tbs of grated ginger
- 1 tbs honey
Preparation Mix all the ingredients, stir well and its ready to drink.
4. Green Tea Detox:- Green tea is full of antioxidants. For this drink you will need following things-
- 1 Bag green tea
- 1 stick cinnamon or powered cinnamon
- 1/4 turmeric
- 1 cups Hot water
- 1 tbs honey(optional)
Preparation In a Teacup add teabag and spices. Pour hot water and stir it until the spices are fully dissolved. Let the teabag sit for 3 to 4 minutes in the hot water. After that remove it and enjoy your drink. You can also add honey for sweetness.
5. Fresh citrus juice for detox:-
Fresh Citrus fruits like Grapefruit, Oranges, Limes, Lemons, Tangerines(Kinu) etc. You may also add carrot, Pineapple, Kiwi, Strawberry, Blackberry or any fruit of your choice.
